Ok so like I am bored on my school break and having the time of my life researching creatures, wondering if anyone has a creature they’d like me to do a deep (okay maybe shallow) dive on? I love to learn.

Okay so I have this theory I’ve been building for years about how in the early 2010s, every pop hit was about dying in the club. I don’t know if it was a 2012 apocalypse thing or a post-recession thing or another social force I haven’t considered. But I’m wondering if you guys can think of examples? The period I’m looking at is kinda 2008-2012. My top dying in the club song is Dynamite by Taio Cruz

Non-leather purses and wallets? I have been using a tote bag as a purse and a notebook as a wallet for like a year and it’s starting to kill my extremely chic image and also one of these days I’m gonna lose my ID and I will NOT go back to the Brooklyn DMV

Most indulgent/luxurious little treats? Food, media, otherwise? I just turned in a big paper, and this week was hell, and I need the stuff equivalent of a hug.

Tricks for focusing/ treats (food or otherwise) to make things a little nicer? I have a week to write a final paper but am having a whole migraine/brain fog situation, and I feel like I’m thinking through molasses. I understand the irony of asking this on my phone!
