My cat, Alien

I have done a lot of Alien posting on here (arguably too much), but today is her birthday (no one knows when her birthday is, but this is the day I found her), and I need to make sure she gets the recognition she deserves. When @Maddie Weinstein and I found her, she was a tiny mostly feral 6-pound Crown Heights street cat, and now she’s my best friend in the whole world (and a 7-pound Park Slope house cat.) She hates other cats to a terrifying degree (Maddie has never forgiven her), and once the rabies police had to make sure she wasn’t rabid bc she bit my mom’s cat, but it was quarantine, so I just held her up to a window for them to look at and was like, she’s not rabid, she’s just mean. She and I are bonded to an unhealthy degree, and sometimes she gets mad at me bc she fell asleep somewhere else and she missed me. She’s bitten a couple vet techs, and she’s addicted to wet food, and, like me, she has multiple chronic illnesses. She kills cockroaches, and once she put a live mouse on my bed. She might be the corporeal embodiment of my unexpressed feminine rage. I would do anything for her. She’s probably nine.
